Challenge
For Travelers Insurance, we set out to create a best-in-class native and mobile web experience designed to improve customer support around immediate needs, account and document services, and claims tracking. The platform also introduced new payment options (Apple Pay, Android Pay, Samsung Pay), delivered personalized information across life, home, business, and transportation needs, and streamlined operations to reduce the strain on customer service.


Process
As one of two designers, I collaborated closely with the UX team and stakeholders to develop the final design concept, which was selected for implementation. Using Travelers’ design system as a foundation, I created new components and interfaces that were functional, visually cohesive, and customer-focused. Throughout the process, we leveraged user testing results to A/B test features and designs, gaining valuable insights into user behavior and preferences. I adjusted the designs based on this feedback, ensuring the app addressed pain points and provided an intuitive experience.
Solution
Through collaboration and a data-driven, user-first approach, we delivered an app that made managing insurance simple and stress-free while streamlining operations for Travelers.
